Meet Our Founder

Elizabeth Hallgren is the founder of The Levain Group. 

Elizabeth has worked with training teams in a wide variety of business growth and entrepreneurship programs for over 15 years. She currently serves as the Entrepreneur Coach in Residence at the Scale Accelerator at the University of Iowa's John Pappajohn Entrepreneurship Center (JPEC). She has helped over 300 businesses startup and grow and it is her true passion to enable founders and owners to be successful. 

Some career highlights include helping entrepreneurs in Zambia with the U.S. State Department’s Young African Leadership Initiative’s Mandela Washington Fellowship and helping small business owners create “survival plans” during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic with the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program. 

She earned her Master’s Degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science. She is a certified Executive Coach and Lean LaunchPad Instructor.
